2018 Alaska Quilt Cruise for a Cause - including Glacier Bay

Cruising Alaska at the best part of the Alaskan Season

August 4-11, 2018

With Allison Aller, Patt Blair, Barbara Cline and Sujata Shah

Supporting Leukemia Research

Enjoy Alaska with the summer sun! We've learned the best time of year to visit the last frontier is mid-July through mid-August, later in the Alaska season once the fog and rain of May and June have dissipated.  Thus, we've planned our 2018 Alaska journey during the best and most inspirational part of the summer, when the days are long and the sun is bright, the salmon are running, the whales are breeching and wildlife is out in abundance. Join us as we sail on Holland America's wonderful VISTA CLASS ship, the Eurodam.

Alaska has always been a favorite destination for quilters and this year we are joined by our fabulous teachers, Allison Aller, Patt Blair, Barbara Cline, Sujata Shah and Bonnie Sullivan, who've prepared fun and exciting workshops for our adventure to America's last frontier. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn new quilting skill and perfect others all while making new friends in our fun-loving group.

This 7 day Alaska quilting journey through the inside passage to Glacier Bay will offer amazing classes, incredible inspiration and scenery and wildlife viewing as well as exclusive onboard and in port activities.

Non-quilters are more than welcome to join us, so consider bringing a companion or even your entire family as onboard or in port, there will be something for every interest. There are many sightseeing options available and all of the piers are located right in town.  With several Alaskan quilt shops within walking distance of the ship, it couldn't be any easier for you to take home some Alaskan fabric treasures!  We have also arranged special custom shore tours just for our group which will combine some of the incredible area sightseeing along with quilt shop visits; there will be will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Why choose our Alaskan quilt cruise?  Check out our Alaska cruise video speaks for itself.
