summer sun! We've learned the best time of year to visit the last frontier
is later in the Alaska season once the fog and rain of May and June have
dissipated. Thus, we've planned our 2018 Alaska journey
during the best and most inspirational part of the summer, when the sun is bright, the salmon is
running, the whales are breeching and the animals are out in abundance.
Join us as we sail on Holland America's wonderful VISTA CLASS ship,
Alaska has always been a
favorite destination for quilters and this year we are joined by
our fabulous teachers, Allison Aller, Patt Blair, Doug Leko, Sujata
Shah and Bonnie Sullivan, who've prepared fun and exciting workshops for our adventure to
America's last frontier. This is a
wonderful opportunity to learn new quilting skill and perfect others all
while making new friends in our fun-loving group.
This 7 day Alaska
quilting journey through the inside passage to Glacier Bay will offer
amazing classes, incredible inspiration and scenery and wildlife viewing
as well as exclusive onboard and in port activities.
Non-quilters are more
than welcome to join us, so consider bringing a companion or even your
entire family as onboard or in port, there will be something for every
interest. There are many sightseeing options available and all of the
piers are located right in town. With several Alaskan quilt shops within
walking distance of the ship, it couldn't be any easier for you to take
home some Alaskan fabric treasures! We have also arranged special
custom shore tours just for our group which will combine some of the
incredible area sightseeing along with quilt shop visits; there will be
will be something for everyone to enjoy.
$150 discount available for non-quilters when
booked with a quilter in the same cabin except for sale cabins.
Cruise (including sale) prices are capacity controlled for
specific categories only and cannot be guaranteed until booking is
received and confirmed. Surcharges, cruise line port fees and
government taxes are
not included in the above prices and are $295 per person.
Third/fourth person in a cabin rate is $1099 for all but suites, then it
is $1299. The
prices above reflect a discount for those who wish to pay by cash. The

Flexibility during cruise port time is allowed so each passenger may enjoy
the area at their leisure. As port time is often quite limited,
unless specified on this website, escorted trips to quilt shops or other
group activities while on shore are not planned so that one has control of
their time in each port however, optional quilter shore tours will be
arranged for your enjoyment.
