Sorry!! We are no longer able to accept bookings on this cruise.  Sorry we missed you!

Join us in Birmingham for the fabulous 2014 Festival of Quilts - followed by an incredible Princess® cruise that will circumnavigate its way around the British isles with Sue Spargo and Australia's Jen Kingwell (Jen Kingwell Designs and owner of Amity Quilt Shop in Melbourne).  Check out the Festival of Quilts website here.

We have planned a spectacular itinerary which allows you to take advantage of all the United Kingdom has to offer to quilters and patchwork enthusiasts.  The Festival of Quilts show is an extraordinary event and proudly, one of Europe's finest!  We will spend the weekend at the show, then take a leisurely four days exploring some of England's special sites before our cruise sets sail from Southampton (near London).  Once onboard, our cruise will depart for the history rich ports of: Guernsey, England; Cobh, Ireland; Dublin, Ireland, Belfast, Northern Ireland; Glasgow, Scotland; Kirkwall, Scotland; Loch Ness, Scotland, Edinburgh, Scotland  and  Le Havre, France, for Paris, before returning to Southampton.

Our teachers are working on classes and special projects that will enhance your UK adventure. Additionally, we  will be arranging special optional 'quilter port tours' exclusive to our group members.  When we are in Le Havre, our tour will visit the Normandy Beaches as well as the village of Bayeux to see the famous tapestry; in Glasgow, Princess will arrange a full city tour with quilt shop visits as well as a visit to the Paisley Museum, where one will enjoy the history of the famous paisley textiles.

What a great time of year to explore the United Kingdom AND visit Europe's greatest quilt extravaganza, the Festival of Quilts.  This special duel itinerary has been planned just for you, however, if you are short on time, you may choose just the cruise. Otherwise, we will enjoy the Festival of Quilts extravaganza weekend with two nights in Bath and two nights in London before the cruise departs.

Our ship, the Ruby Princess®  features the latest in Princess style cruise comfort which will enhance your overall travel experience on every level. Activities for all ages and interests abound, so consider bringing the family as this cruise is not just for quilters.  Capacity for this our special quilting events in Birmingham and on the cruise is limited, please register early to avoid disappointment.  We will sell out fast!
