Join quilt teacher, researcher and historian, Xenia Cord, for an exciting time
of quilt study at
sea and enjoy exciting seaports in Canada and New England.
Setting sail from New York City, our
voyage will take us to the ports of Halifax, Nova Scotia; Saint John, New
Brunswick; Bar Harbor, Main; Boston, Massachusetts and Newport, Rhode
Island.
Included with your cruise are three amazing shore
excursions which include exclusive behind-the-scenes quilt viewing activities.
Together, we will visit the quilt archives at the New Brunswick Museum, The
National Heritage Museum (Lexington, MA) and the University of Rhode
Island. We have also allowed time for relaxing, taking in the
beautiful scenery and enjoying some of these historic ports on your own.
During time at sea, Xenia will be
making special presentations which relate to quilt history.
