London Christmas Celebration
Quilts & Christmas Markets

December 12-18, 2017

London is home to many popular Christmas traditions including stunning Christmas lights and displays, festive events, Christmas markets with crafts and treats, celebrations and delicious seasonal food.  Many of these date back to the time of Queen Victoria.

Join us in London for our festive Holiday Celebration Tour next December.  Together we will explore one of the world's greatest cities decked out in holiday cheer, take part in seasonal traditions, savor culinary treats, visit the home of Charles Dickens and enjoy several Christmas Markets.  If you are looking something a little different during this joyful season, consider our one-of-a-kind quilter's journey.  We welcome travelers from all over the world, so don't hesitate signing up today, we are limited to 25 guests on this exclusive tour.

December 12, 2017:  WE ARE OFF TO LONDON!  Our  "Free to Fly" program allows you to depart from the city of your choice, using mileage plans or points as you prefer. Leaving from where you want, when you want you avoid the hassle of having to meet up with the group at an appointed airport before leaving the USA.  If you are departing from North America, dinner should be served on your overnight flight with a light breakfast before your morning arrival in London.  D/B.

December 13, 2017: As you arrive in London, you will self transfer to our beautiful hotel located in the heart of all the London Christmastime action.  While the remainder of your day is free to rest from your flight or wander, this evening we will enjoy a welcome dinner together and a Christmas theme performance in one of London's favorite theaters. D

December 14, 2017:  Today we will enjoy guided tour of London which will include a visit to the Charles Dickens Museum. The museum is located in the last remaining house in which Dickens lived, and where he completed Oliver Twist and Nicholas Nickleby. Here we will enjoy the vast collection of paintings, rare editions, manuscripts, original furniture, and many other materials related to the renowned author.  This evening, we will enjoy the festivities at the Leicester Square Christmas Market and the la Soiree Christmas Show. B

December 15, 2017: As there are so many other wonderful things to see and enjoy in London, today is a free day for you to explore on your own.  You might want to take the Harry Potter walking tour, enjoy the London Eye and walking around the River Thames, or, if Christmastime tradition is a priority on your list, the Covent Garden Market, its up to you!  This evening we will be picked up and taken to the Greenwhich Christmas Market where you may enjoy dinner and shop for some fabulous gifts and crafts. B

December 16, 2017:  Rest well, for this morning we will hit the fabric shopping hub of London. Known as London's "sewing and fabric haven", this area features an eclectic collection of fabric shops offering a vast selection of fabrics including Liberty prints and Italian wools at great prices. From here we will enjoy Christmas Market festivities beginning at the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. Later, we will take in the Winter Festival at South Bank Center before our coach drops us at Regents street to enjoy the beautiful holiday lights. The remainder of the evening is free to enjoy the lively atmosphere of one of London's most popular holiday attractions.  B

December 17, 2017 - Following a leisurely morning, today we will visit one of the more quaint areas of London, considered, "One of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the city."  Here, you will find a charming village steeped with history, open places, antique shops and wonderful restaurants, all with rich holiday traditions.  While here, we are invited guests for the afternoon at a very special antique quilt emporium, full of quilt treasures from around the British Isles. We will enjoy a wonderful holiday farewell meal at a local restaurant before returning to our hotel where you are free to enjoy the remainder of the evening. B/D

December 18, 2017:  As all good things come to an end, today ends our London Christmastime journey. It is my wish that you leave London not only with special gifts for those at home, but with a lifetime of memories from our Holiday time together.  B
