Julie Wallace

Julie Wallace is an Internationally known quilt teacher and fabric designer from Loch, Australia.  She has been involved in quilting for many years, having her own shop, the Quilter's Barn for 17 of them.   She has designed patterns and been an active author for Australian quilt magazines and written three well known patchwork books which have been widely available throughout the world.   She was awarded the Michael Kile Memorial Scholarship from Quilts, Inc in 1996 and remains the only Australian to have ever been the recipient of this honor.  As a fabric designer, she has also designed over 450 fabrics for Yuwa in Japan and her fabrics are known the world over.  Her teaching resume includes classes taught on the international level in Japan, South Africa, and the Netherlands, and we are privileged to have her participate on our cruise teaching an original  project.
