A cruise to Alaska is a favorite among quilters and this cruise will be one quilting party you do not want to miss!  Join World of Quilts Travel on this amazing Alaska cruise adventure.

We're sailing on the beautiful Ruby Princess round trip from Seattle and stopping in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria as our cruise takes us through the scenic and inspirational waters of Alaska's inside passage.  Along our way, we will have incredible opportunities for viewing wildlife and scenic vistas - including cruising through the beautiful Tracy Arm Fjord.

Our amazing teachers include Helen Stubbings from Australia's Hugs 'n Kisses, Frieda Anderson and Alaska's own Dana Woodard Verrengia. All workshops will be held during "at sea" time, allowing port time for you to experience Alaska and all of its beauty and splendor -- and of course, the quilt shops. There are quilt shops in every port, and several are walking distance from the ship. Included in our Quilting and Cruising package are social opportunities and open sewing times for you to meet with the teachers as well as other quilters. It is a great chance to make new friends who share this passion.  We are also arranging very special optional shore excursions exclusively for members of group.

Consider bringing the entire family as an Alaskan cruise on Princess is one that everyone enjoys. Princess offers exciting and adventurous child and youth programs every day and their adult activities are so numerous that there is always something for every interest.

Security and enforcement at the Canada-United States border has been heightened. For this reason, more U.S. and Canadian citizens with past criminal charges or convictions are refused entry into Canada. Almost all convictions (including DUI, DWI, reckless driving, negligent driving, misdemeanor drug possession, all felonies, domestic violence [assault IV], shoplifting, theft, etc.) make a person inadmissible to Canada, regardless of how long ago they occurred.

It is recommended that persons who have been charged in the past or who have past convictions obtain the necessary documents before attempting to enter Canada.
