Participation in the optional tour will add more. Residents of New
York, Washington or Texas, please inquire about insurance rates for your
state as a different policy applies to those who live in these states.
Cruise prices are capacity controlled
for specific categories only and cannot be guaranteed until booking is
received and confirmed. Inquire as to the availability and pricing
of insurance (which differs) for those living outside the USA/Canada.
Cruise pricing includes all
teacher fees and classes, specific project materials and/or kit fees are
additional. Supply lists will be sent with your class official class confirmation.
Optional Pre Cruise Sydney Tour:

In
addition to the cruise, we are including an optional pre-cruise extension of your
Australia/New Zealand journey with a 4 day - 3 night Sydney
adventure that includes visits to some of Sydney's most famous sites.
Our tentative pre-cruise Sydney itinerary:
January
8, 2013: Independent arrival at our hotel and free afternoon with a group
dinner meeting scheduled.
January
9, 2013: Orientation tour of Sydney with a visit to the picturesque
Botanical Gardens, Opera House and
Sydney Harbor Cruise. Following the cruise we will have time in the
city center, making our own way back to the hotel.
January
10, 2013: Private tour of Featherdale Wildlife Park where we will
have the opportunity to see Australian native animals such as the
Kangaroo's, Koala's, Possums, Emu's and native birds. The afternoon
is free for you to enjoy the Sydney area.
January
11, 2013: Private coach transfer to the Diamond Princess with quilt
'shop hops' along the way.
Price
for the above option is $1050 per person (double) inclusive of breakfast daily except
on day of arrival. The price for a single (private room) is $1699.

Flexibility during cruise
port time is allowed so each passenger may enjoy the area at their
leisure. As port time is often quite limited, unless specified on
this website, escorted trips to quilt shops or other group activities
while on shore are not planned so
that one has control of their time in each port. However, addresses
and contact information for quilt shops and places to see quilts may be
provided as available and one may visit these as they wish.
