Yes! Due to popular demand, we are Hawaii bound once again!
Beyond the
donation to our worthy cause, breast cancer research, what could be
more inspiring than a cruise to Hawaii where you can explore the amazing
beauty of these incredible islands? A quilt cruise where you will meet new
friends, be inspired with amazing workshops and have the beauty of the
Pacific all around you. Join World of Quilts Travel owner, Deb
Roberts, with our phenomenal teachers, Lisa Erlandson and Judy Coates
Perez, for our 15 day cruise where we will
discover all of the beauty these islands offer. Not only will the
quilting events be fun and reflect our itinerary, but throughout the
cruise, there will be 'talk story' about the unique culture and heritage
of the islands. You may also choose from onboard activities
like hula and ukulele lessons and lei making.
The response to
our 2010, 2011 and 2012 round-trip California Coast to Hawaii cruises was so overwhelming
that we ran out of cabins before everyone who wished to go could sign up.
As such, we are now looking forward to another great Pacific Ocean and Island
cruise adventure. We've expanded to offer you more classes, more
choices, more contests (more prizes) and having navigated these waters
more than any other quilt cruise provider, we promise our time
together will not only be inspiring, but it will build friendships and
memories that will last a lifetime. Our teachers have designed some
wonderful
workshops and you may rest assured they will be
geared toward every skill level.
In addition to
the inspiring island beauty, we have found the cruising atmosphere of the
Pacific perfect for an amazing time at sea for both quilters and
non-quilters alike as our ship has hundreds of activities that will
appeal to all. Bring the whole family, there will be something for
everyone to enjoy.
Our trip will begin in San
Francisco where we will board our home for the next 15 nights, the
amazing Grand Princess®, (Bermudan
Registry). Quilting classes will
abound, yet our schedule will still allow plenty of time to relax and
enjoy the shipboard services, amenities and activities that Princess is
known for. Our workshops will only be held during the days we are at sea, allowing you to fully enjoy all shipboard
entertainment and activities without feeling like you have to make a
choice. This will also allow you to spend each day in port doing as
you wish, and at your leisure.
Consider joining
all the fun! As we have mentioned, in addition to the quilting activities, there will be
hula and ukeleke lessons, lei making lessons, all you need to make your
Hawaii vacation truly an island adventure.
Our itinerary includes port stops on the
Islands of
Hawaii, Maui, Oahu and Kauai, and includes bonus port visit in Ensenada,
Mexico.
