Susan Edmonson

 

 

Susan Edmonson is an award winning quilter and mixed media artist.  She started her journey in 1981 stemming from an art background of drawing and painting.  Her passion is mixing all of her knowledge into creative art quilts, small Prayer Flags, and  fabric books with each one being heavily embellished either by hand or machine!  Most of her designs are inspired from Nature with attention to detail. Her classes are designed to inspire her students to create their own works of art!  Susan has been a  Bernina Ambassador for many years and loving what she does!
 
She has been published in numerous Somerset Studio Publications, Quilting Arts, and others, along with 3 segments on Quilting Arts TV. She teaches across the US for national shows and guilds.
 
She lives in Concord, N.C. with her high school sweetheart and husband of 43 years. They have two grown sons who are married with 4 precious grandchildren between them!
